What is the purpose of Nutrition Coaching at Keep It Tight Fitness?
At Keep It Tight Fitness we strive to help our ladies find a balance with health, diet, nutrition and fitness. In order to achieve the best possible results with your workouts, we recommend that each individual sit down with one of our fitness nutrition specialists to discuss your specific vision of what you wish to achieve at KITF. We believe diet accounts for 80 percent of your success with weight loss goals; you cannot accomplish your goals through exercise alone.
What type of woman would benefit from Nutrition Coaching?
Everyone! These sessions are not only for those who wish to lose weight. As a matter of fact, it seems that most of the ladies we see for nutrition sessions just need help with making better choices for well-rounded meals. They feel lost trying to pick out health snacks in the grocery store. They are frustrated with always eating the same things without any variety from day to day. So along with helping you achieve weight loss, we are here to add some “healthy excitement” to your grocery list!
What does Nutrition Coaching at Keep It Tight consist of?
The first coaching session will last around 1 hour and begins with a complete background assessment of health problems, eating disorders or medical issues*. We will discuss your goals for weight loss, nutrition and fitness, along with taking measurements and calculating your body fat percentage. We will provide suggestions to assist with your daily meal planning and day-to-day menus/grocery lists that are highly structured. We will calculate your specific daily calorie count based on your personal statistics and goals. You can come into our office, sit back, relax and be open and honest with what you feel you need from us to accomplish your goals at Keep It Tight Fitness. We are here for you 100 percent through your journey.
*If any of these conditions are found during our assessment, we are more than happy to recommend you to a RD or Medical Physician.
How does this process get started and do I have to be a Keep It Tight member?
You do not have to be a member at KITF to make an appointment for Nutrition Coaching with us, although we highly recommend our classes or personal training sessions in conjunction with the nutrition sessions in order to reach your maximum potential.
