So why should you get the proper amount of fiber every day? Numerous reasons! In clinical studies, cholesterol levels dropped between 0.5% and 2% for every gram of soluble fiber eaten per day.
Myth: Since fiber is only found in carbohydrates, won’t eating all these carbohydrates cause weight gain?
Reality: No. While eating too many carbohydrates can lead to weight gain, fiber is the secret to eating carbohydrates and shedding pounds. Check out more myths & fiber facts here.
One of our favorite sources of fiber are Gnu Bars. When placed against competing fiber bars, they slide past the competition (no pun intended.) 1.3 Fiber One Bars are equal to 1 Gnu bar. See for your self by clicking here.
Be sure to fit 25-30 grams of fiber into your daily diet and help lean your body and feel fuller longer!
